When Wild’s little brother gets an invitation to Shadowspell Academy – followed by a recruiter who won’t take no for an answer – she panics. This is the same mysterious place her older brother never came home from. So she does what any protective big sister would do – she disguises herself as a boy and goes in his place. Anything to prevent losing another sibling. And as a farm girl, she’s confident that she is tough and rough enough to pass as a boy.

Once she gets there she realizes that her secrets are nothing compared to what the Academy is hiding.
